Pursuant to Rule 704(11) of the Listing Manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, United Industrial Corporation Limited ("UIC") wishes to advise that none of the persons occupying managerial positions in UIC or any of its principal subsidiaries is a relative of a director or the chief executive officer or substantial shareholder of UIC.
